On behalf of compamedia, the organiser of the TOP 100 innovation competition, innovation researcher Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke and his team assessed around 120 test criteria from five categories and were in favour of the award. Science Journalist Ranga Yogeshwar is the TOP 100 mentor. The project's partners are the Fraunhofer Society for the Advancement of Applied Research and the BVMW SME Association.
