For the second time after 2016, SIEBFABRIK has received the TOP 100 seal and is thus one of the TOP 100 most innovative companies in the German SME sector in 2021. The winners are determined every year by the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration under the scientific direction of Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke. The mentor of TOP 100 is the science journalist and TV presenter Ranga Yogeshwar. "For us, the award is an honour and at the same time a further incentive to incorporate innovative ideas in our projects," says SIEBFABRIK Managing Director Dipl.-Ing. Christoph Leppla.
Our climate-friendly approach
As a member of the VEA initiative "Climate-friendly SMEs (Klimafreundlicher Mittelstand)", SIEBFABRIK supports environmental protection and advocates ecological, sustainable actions.
With this in mind, the company is making use of state-of-the art technologies and systems. For example, the construction of its new production hall incorporated photovoltaic installations on the roofs. The electricity generated is firstly used at SIEBFABRIK to power the machinery and secondly will be fed, in future, into the charging stations for employees' e-bikes and electric vehicles.
SIEBFABRIK is taking responsibility for reducing CO2 emissions by using energy more efficiently, paying attention to climate-friendly energy sources, and getting involved in projects to protect the climate.
